Become an accredited M&V expert with this 2 day course leading to the Performance Measurement & Verification Expert (PMVE) qualification.

Course Overview

For M&V and energy professionals wishing to obtain the Performance Measurement & Verification Expert (PMVE) qualification, this 2-day training course is delivered in conjunction with a four hour examination.

The training material for the PMVE course (as well as the International Performance Measurement &  Verification Protocol) is owned by the Efficiency Valuation Organisation (EVO) and public UK training courses and PMVE exams are facilitated by ESTA as the UK training partner, with EEVS providing one of the UK’s qualified PMVE instructors.

The course was established in 2022 following industry feedback on the need to continually enhance the knowledge, skills and abilities of M&V professionals and establishes an advanced standard for individuals involved in  preparing or reviewing M&V Plans and Reports.

What will I learn?

The course intends to develop participants’ knowledge in the practical issues associated with developing Measurement & Verification Plans and Savings Reports in preparation for a 4-hour exam to be taken online following the course.

By the end of the course…

Through discussion and practical examples covering the topics above, participants should be able to:

Understand the challenges associated with the practical application of M&V

Be able to produce an M&V report compliant with the IPMVP

Be able to prepare an IPMVP compliant plan along with the associated M&V calculations

Be able to review an M&V plan for compliance with the IPMVP
