What is M&V?

Measurement & Verification (M&V) is a key part of any energy efficiency investment. It is the process used to calculate and report the savings achieved by that investment.

Hilary Wood PMVE

Hilary was one of the first professionals in the UK to qualify as a CMVP (Certified Measurement & Verification Professional) in 2009, and subsequently as a Performance Measurement & Verification Expert (PMVE) in 2022. She has developed and delivered our M&V training courses for clients across a wide range of sectors.

Hilary is certified by the Efficiency Valuation Organisation (EVO), who own the International Performance Measurement & Verification Protocol) to deliver training leading to the PMVA and PMVE professional qualifications and has developed bespoke training courses to include practical implementation of M&V in Energy Performance Contracting.

Hilary is also an experienced Measurement & Verification professional delivering day-to-day advisory and technical M&V services spanning the major UK Energy Performance Contracting frameworks RE:FIT, CEF, NDEE and Lexica as well as large-scale projects across corporate estates.
